Seed Company Prayer for Thursday
Living on the small windswept island of Ndao in the Timor region of Indonesia, the Dhao people were first introduced to Christ in the early 1700s. Today all Dhao speakers consider themselves to be Christians, but they still don’t have the Scriptures in their own language. A prominent man, who was born on the island of Dhao, is now coordinating the translation program. With Scripture in their own language, the Dhao church will be strengthened and individual believers will be encouraged to develop a deeper, more personal walk with the Lord.
- A volume of Thessalonians, Timothy, Titus and James is printed and ready for distribution. However, the ferry scheduled to take them to Dhao island broke down. Now with the dangers of the wave season, pray for wisdom as they reschedule a trip to distribute the Scriptures.
- The team has completed a revision of Luke and Revelation. Pray for the upcoming consultant check that the process will go well and improve the translation.
