Ron Speakers of Nigeria

The Ron church, which represents just over half the Ron population, has actively pursued Bible translation twice in the last century but without success. Nigerian Christians from the NBTT and the local Ron church are restarting the work of bringing lasting truth from God to the Ron people by translating the NT and portions of the OT.

  • God is doing wonderful things through Bible translation in Ron. The people desire Scripture and their excitement shows when they hear and understand God’s Word in the language that speaks to their heart. Pray that many in Ron will hear and understand God’s Word and come to know Christ as their personal Savior.
  • The entire book of Matthew is completely hand drafted, as well as 2 Timothy. They have also made great progress in Acts. Praise God for all the progress the team has made. Pray for His continual blessing and care over the team and all those who contribute to this project.
  • Thank the Lord for the addition of a new translator to the team. Continue to pray for more translators to join the project, as well as more reviewers. Pray that the community, including “The Sons and Daughters of Ron” group, becomes more involved.
