Mbula of Nigeria

About 50% of the Mbula people claim faith in Christ. However, Hausa, the trade language, is used for church. The majority of the Christians do not know that language well, so they are losing interest. As a result, a traditional cult is making a comeback in the area.

  • Thank the Lord that the Mbula team has translated nearly half the New Testament in first draft. Pray for the team as they finish drafting the challenging books of Acts and Romans.

  • Pray that Mbula people will come to a saving knowledge of the Lord as a result of hearing and reading the Pioneer Bible Series booklets being produced.
