Mantive Cluster of SE Asia
The Mantive Cluster brings together of 8 languages teams in need of the Scriptures including: Raba, Uchu, Ere, Yar, Oko, Gom, Iro and Gest. Outsiders who desire to translate the Bible are generally denied access to this country, but God has raised up mother-tongue translators who are willing to risk their lives to bring His Word to their people. Translators from six of the languages, Uchu, Yar, Gest, Ere, Gom and Iro, are working on the NT, while the two other languages, Oko and Raba, translators are working on OT.

Pray that the Ere and Gom teams will benefit from the insights they gained at recent workshop, and put them into practice as they translate. Pray that the Ere translators can pass on what they learned at the course to their teammate who couldn’t come because his wife was about to deliver their baby.

Pray for David’s health, as he has had severe headaches on the left side of his head.

The Gom team added a new member to replace one of the main translators who died in 2007 Pray that God will enable this new Gom team member to turn out a dynamic and idiomatic mother-tongue translation.
