Ehugbo of Nigeria

The Ehugbo community is one of many ethnicities within the larger Igbo population. Although little cultural information is available for the Ehugbo in particular, the majority of the Igbo people are farmers. For many years, Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian and smaller Christian groups have been active in the Ehugbo area, but with little impact on the people and culture as a whole. Many church-goers still practice traditional African religion, including appeasing ancestral spirits. The plan is to translate the New Testament plus supporting portions of the Old Testament. The Ehugbo project started just this year.

  • Pray that God will provide at least 10 prayer partners as well as investors to provide the needed funding.

  • Pray for those who will be blessed this year by coming alongside this project.
