Daily Prayer: the Isoma people of India

The Isoma people live in a beautiful forested area of South Asia. Agriculture and animal herding has been a part of their culture for centuries. The people are traditionally animist, but through missionary efforts a small, growing church has been planted. A dedicated husband and wife team live among the people translating the Bible. The translated Scripture portions have been well received among Christians.

  • Praise that Romans and Hebrews are now checked by a consultant and soon to be in trial print. Pray the last revisions of Acts and 1 Corinthians will go well.
  • Praise God that the translators' daughter was admitted to junior college.
