The Seed Company™ - Accelerated Bible Translation

Using computer adaptation, this ongoing workshop approach to translation will produce the Old Testament for these languages in the highlands of Peru. Funding will provide a stipend for the national translators plus travel, food and lodging to participate in workshops. It will also cover computer equipment and software for the adaptation work and free qualified translation consultants to help other translation projects around the world.  Because of its workshop and adaptation format, this project will free up a number of highly qualified translation consultants to do much needed translation checking in other Seed Company projects around the world.

• Praise God that the teams reached their goal of 40 percent of the Old Testament drafted, revised and tested. Pray for them as they prepare for the next workshop. Pray that the Quechua translators will take full advantage of the unique grammatical structures of their languages to produce a high quality translation.
• Pray that many Quechua people will come to perceive the true biblical viewpoint regarding their sin problem and that they’ll be led to see their need for the Savior.
• Pray that God will give the Quechua Cluster teams wisdom to make adjustments to the translation so that the message will be both clear and also true to the original authors’ intent.
