Bringing the Full Scriptures

The Ethiopia New Testament project has been a blessing to the Gamo, Gofa and Dawro peoples. Drawing on the strength of these communities of passionate and wise followers of Christ, the project has been able to bring both the New Testament and the JESUS film to the community. Now the community is ready for the next step as part of the Ethiopia Old Testament Cluster.

  • Pray for wisdom as the team moves forward with the adaptation of the Old Testament into these three languages. The Old Testament has unique translation challenges they haven’t faced yet.

  • Continued to pray for the believers in Ethiopia as they seek to honor God in all things.

  • Pray that God would continue to strengthen the church through these translated Scriptures.
