Aramaic M-North
Around the world, there are a million spiritually hungry Aramaic M-North -speaking people who can no longer understand the ancient Scriptures of their forefathers. Although the ancient Christian churches of Aramaic M-north were blessed to have one of the earliest translations of the Bible, it is now so archaic the people are no longer able to read it for themselves. Christians were once the majority in this language group, but they have been under heavy persecution for over 1,300 years. Today many who adhere to the dominant religion realize that their forefathers where once Christians who were forced to convert. This sometimes causes people to explore their roots by studying Christianity. Praise the Lord this project is fully funded. The team hopes to complete the New Testament, along with the JESUS film and some Scripture audiotapes.

The day when the Aramaic M-North New Testament will be printed and distributed to people is quickly approaching. Pray that all finishing touches on the New Testament prior to publication will bring it up to good quality.
-
Pray that the gospel message will penetrate peoples’ hearts and lives as they read preliminary copies of God’s Word before it’s printed in final form.

Printing of the Portrait of Jesus booklet, stories and teachings from the Gospels and epistles, is still on the agenda. Pray that the Portrait of Jesus and JESUS film will irresistibly draw people to the Savior. Distribution of the JESUS film is ongoing. In the past six months a total of 1,100 copies went out to Aramaic M-North-speaking communities.
