Amiya of Senegal
Amiya society was largely converted to a major religion of the area by the 11th century. In reality, the Amiya practice a folk version of that religion with animistic undertones. Christian influence is minimal and the Amiya consider Christianity “second best”. There are very few known Christians among the Amiya.
