What is true wealth? Material riches and a good education? Proverbs 15:16 says: “Better a little with the fear of the LORD than great wealth with turmoil.” This nation’s large upper class has access to much this world has to offer. Yet without God’s Word they are lost, an unreached people! Extremely few Christians are found in this class of society.

To reach these people’s hearts, local Christians and scholars are translating the New Testament into the language these people value most: Sanskrit. As a modern-day translation, project leaders expect the Bible to suddenly become a hot topic among the well-educated here. The goal is for this project to be the starting point for widespread evangelism and discipleship!

    Translators know that without the awesome power of God’s Word in the language people understand best, faith is severely crippled. And in this region millions of people use Sanskrit, Bible translation is urgently needed. Local Christians and scholars are translating the New Testament into the language these people value most. As a modern-day translation, project leaders expect the Bible to suddenly become a hot topic among the well-educated here.     Evangelism is exploding in the Sanskrit area of South Asia!.

    Evangelism is exploding in this region teeming with unreached people groups; God is clearly on the move! He’s unleashing His Spirit as ministry partners across the globe join hands with local ministries. It’s a beautiful testimony to Christian unity and purpose.
