Ragar NT

The Ragar people have farmed their lands and lived in fear of spirits for many years. Efforts to evangelize them have been met with great resistance. Although the few Ragar believers are persecuted, they still stand strong in the midst of suffering.
Bible translation began in 1981 with a dedicated single woman. Over the years as others have joined her, they translated 50 percent of the New Testament in spite of opposition. Momentum is increasing as a young Ragar couple now plans to join the translation team. The team has ambitious plans for Scripture use and literacy development.
