Namma NT

India 4

The Namma people live in isolated and densely forested mountains, divided by deep valleys. They provide for their families by gathering produce from the forests and hunting game.

Although Christianity came to the region about 200 years ago, its influence among the Namma people remains negligible. Because religion and culture are closely linked, the Namma have a very negative attitude toward Christianity as an outside religion. Translation of the Bible into the Namma language will help them understand that Christ died for the whole world, including the Namma people.
