Mantive NT/OT Cluster

SE Asia 3

Languages participating in this cluster:

  • Raba
  • Uchu
  • Ere
  • Yar
  • Oko
  • Gom
  • Iro
  • Gest

Christians in a Southeast Asian nation have prayed for God’s Word in their own languages, but strong political and religious opposition have hampered translation efforts. Outsiders who desire to translate the Bible are generally denied access to this country, but God has raised up mother-tongue translators who are willing to risk their lives to bring His Word to their people. Today, translators from eight different languages are courageously moving forward.

This project will bring God’s Word to eight language communities. Translators from six languages, Uchu, Yar, Gest, Ere, Gom and Iro, are working on the New Testament. Translators from two other languages, Oko and Raba, are working on the Old Testament.
