Manmal NT Cluster | Nune
This language group is participating in the Manmal NT Cluster project.
Nune speakers live in a province where at least 20 other local languages are spoken. Within the last twenty years Nune has become increasingly popular. With the rise of transportation and intermarriage, it has become the language of choice for many people throughout the province. Almost anyone living in the area needs to learn the Nune language, since its influence and use is high.
Nune translators – and translators in nearby languages – attend workshops at a regional translation center as they continue translating the New Testament and portions of the Old Testament. These workshops provide translators with the training they need and a chance to collaborate.
