Magu NT

The 400,000 Magu people practice a traditional religion attributing power to the spirits that they believe control their lives. In recent years 50-60 Magu people have become believers.

A qualified husband-wife team from another part of India is committed to translating the New Testament. They have been living among the Magu people since 1990. Using a specialized computer program, the team is producing a rough draft of the Magu New Testament based on translations being done in related languages. The final version is expected to be completed soon.
