Project Profile

Lis ma Ron NT | Lis ma Ron

Living in the heart of Nigera, the Lis ma Ron, or Ron, people are subsistence farmers . About half of the population are Christians. Because of the growing popularity of another major religion in the area, Christian leaders see a need for well-founded biblical teaching for those within the church and evangelism for those outside. Until now, the local churches have used Scripture in another language. Having access to God’s Word in the language they speak will allow for greater impact in discipleship. It will also help the community preserve their language, promote unity among them as a people and give them tools for outreach.
