Kusaal IG | Kusaal
Although the Kusaal language is more prestigious than some of its neighbors’, Kusaal speakers have little contact with the outside world. Consequently, their community has many needs, including a consistent clean water source and public utility infrastructure. But they have never been organized, to implement practical answers for these deficiencies.
This translation project will be a catalyst for the community to work with outside groups. It will build capacity for trust and cooperation around translation of God’s Word. It will also provide a model, to accelerate completion of other national translation projects and open the door for further Scripture translation for Kussasi people.
