Kru NT Cluster | Neyo
This language group is participating in the Kru NT Cluster project.
The Neyo people are a small group — fewer than 10,000 — each one important to God. This project will provide the first Scripture in their language. The Neyo team will use computer adaptation to translate portions of the New Testament from the neighboring Godie language into Neyo during this cluster project with four other languages.
Because of long-term political instability and frequent social upheaval in their nation, Neyo speakers are looking for peace. They desire education and productive economic activity. There is a restless thirst among them that only Jesus Christ can fill. They need to hear Him speak into their lives in their mother tongue.

Thank the Lord His Word is drawing wayward sinners back to Him!
It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and possess much. (Psalm 37:16, NLT)
In the past 30 years, linguists from around the world translated the New Testament into a handful of the 20 Kru languages spoken in Southwest Côte d’Ivoire. However, in 2002, civil war erupted and translation work stopped. Disarmament is still in process, so life in Kru communities is still unstable. Local people have lost land, churches and literacy centers to disgruntled vigilantes.
