Guan NT

Guan speakers live in India. Traditionally, they make their homes in the valleys and support their families by raising sheep. Nearly all of the Guan people practice the traditional religion of their country.
The Guan people value their language and want to see literature in their mother tongue. This interest opened the door for a translation team to move into the area in January 1998. The husband-and-wife team began learning the Guan language, but at that time, they didn’t know of even one Guan Christian. Since then, they’ve discovered a handful of Guan believers. These Christians are helping them with the translation project, and they’ve begun drafting parts of the New Testament.
