Project Profile

Dadiya NT | Dadiya

Life has been difficult in the Dadiya region. The Dadiya people and some neighboring groups are embroiled in an ongoing land dispute. Homes have been burned; some families have endured significant loss.

In addition to bringing teachings of God’s love, this project brings people from opposing groups together for translation workshops. The power of God’s Word is evidenced as they live, work and pray together in love. The team members are seeking reconciliation between their communities.

The Dadiya New Testament project builds on a successfully completed Luke Partnership Project finished in 2008. That project helped train the translators as well as providing the Gospel of Luke and the JESUS film for the Dadiya community. These teams are now supporting the translation of a full New Testament and portions of the Old Testament.
