Bilha NT

The Bilha, a very cohesive, self-governing language group, live within a country dominated by a major world religion. Despite this most of the Bilha practice animistic beliefs and focus their energy on appeasing and worshipping the ancestor spirits.
Though this country remains largely inaccessible to foreign missionaries, God has raised up dedicated Christians from the country to bring the God’s Word to this people group. Translation began in 1985 but the team lacks adequate support. Outside help will allow the translators to complete the New Testament in only a few years and is eagerly anticipated by the local church. The local church eagerly anticipates having God’s Word which will encourage believers and teach them more about God’s power over the evil spirits.
