J. Todd Peterson
President and Chief Executive Officer
Todd, an entrepreneur and 13-year veteran of the National Football League from 1993-2006, is chairman of the board of Pro Athletes Outreach. During his NFL career he served six years on the NFL Players Association Board of Player Representatives. In addition, Todd serves on the boards for Passion Conferences/Passion City Church, and Global Generosity Movement, Inc. Todd received his Bachelor of Business Administration in banking and finance from the University of Georgia in 1993 and was a GTE Academic All-American in 1992. He and his wife, Susan, live in Johns Creek, Georgia. They have two children.
Chief Operating Officer
Dal came to The Seed Company in 2008 as director of people and organizational development. He was named vice president of field administration in 2010, and became senior vice president of operations in 2011. Dal began serving in his present position in July, 2013. Before this, Dal was director of consulting services for The Waters Consulting Group; assistant city manager of Colleyville, Texas; and director of human resources for the City of Arlington, Texas. Dal has a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Texas A&M University. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Arlington, Texas with their three children.
Chief Financial Officer
David came to The Seed Company in 2011 after serving as the director of finance and operations for Gospelink, a missionary organization assisting national pastors. Prior to this he was a shareholder in a public accounting firm that had a niche in nonprofit accounting, auditing and taxation. David is a certified public accountant with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and a major in accounting from Thomas Edison State College. David has also been ordained for the work of the ministry. He and his wife, Annalisa, live in Arlington, Texas with their three children.
Senior Vice President of Partner Integration
Scott began serving in his current position in October 2013, leading new initiatives to build deeper relational connections between prayer and financial partners with Bibleless people groups. He joined The Seed Company in 2011 as senior vice president of advancement. Prior to this, Scott’s experience includes 25 years of marketing leadership and sales performance with Southwest Airlines. He has a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University in economics and philosophy, with postgraduate work in counseling. Scott and his wife, Mary, live in Flower Mound, Texas. They have two sons.
Senior Vice President of Field Operations
Before Henry came to The Seed Company in 2001, he and his wife, Julie, served 20 years with an inner city ministry of Evangelical Covenant Church. At The Seed Company, Henry has served as director of field programs for Americas, Asia, Pacific and Eurasia; director for strategic planning; and vice president for field strategies and new initiatives. Henry has a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Wheaton College and a master’s in social policy and social research from the University of Chicago. Henry and his wife live in Arlington, Texas. They have two adult daughters, and a son in college.
Senior Vice President of Bible Translation
Larry served as senior vice president for field programs of The Seed Company from 2008 to October 2011, when he began serving in his current position. Larry was vice president for Asia operations for SIL International until 2008. He is currently on the board of Wycliffe USA. Larry received a Bachelor of Arts in classical Greek from Brown University, a Master of Arts in linguistics, and has a Ph.D. in humanities with concentration in linguistics from the University of Texas at Arlington. Larry and his wife, Linda, live in Arlington, Texas. They have three adult children.
Senior Vice President of Field Advocacy
Mindy joined The Seed Company in 2010 as constituent relationship management administrator. In April 2013, she was named director of information management. Mindy began serving in her current role in December 2013. Before joining The Seed Company, Mindy was a national sales manager for Sage Software, and prior to that she served for more than 10 years in hotel management. Mindy attended Texas Tech University with a focus on marketing. Mindy and her husband, Robert, live in Mansfield, Texas. They have three children.
